National Center of Quality Inspection and Testing on Consumer Goods is approved by General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine. NCCG undertakes different kinds of governmental supervision and inspection tasks including testing on footwear products, toys, stationery, household goods, food packaging, clothing and other consumer goods. It also carries out inspection tasks for plastic and paper food packing production license (QS) issuing and for CCC compulsory certification of bassinets and toys.

National Center of Quality Inspection and Testing on Consumer Goods owns laboratories of microorganism, constant temperature and humidity, static electricity, dry cleaning, combustion, chemistry and physics. NCCG has equipment such as ICP-MS, LC-TOF, LC-MS/MS, ICP-AES, GC-MS, Xenon lamp aging instrument, universal material tester, high temperature GPC, SEM, etc.

   Inspection Capabilities

The inspection capabilities cover: daily use products, namely ceramic and enamel products , glass products , plastic products , rubber products, hardware products, leather products, paper products, as well as stationery, children products, arts and crafts, shoes and hats, textile and clothing, bicycles, etc.

National Center of Quality Inspection and Testing on Consumer Goods can execute tests on key items like mechanical properties, electrical properties, burning performance, environmental test, content of harmful substance, microorganism, physical and chemical performance testing according to relevant international standards or advanced foreign standards, such as ISO, ASTM, AATCC, EN, DIN and JIS, etc.

   Scientific and Technological Innovations

National Center of Quality Inspection and Testing on Consumer Goods has organized or participated in establishing and revising dozens of national, industrial and local standards,  among which several papers and standards have won Shanghai Standardization Superior Academic and Technological Prizes.
